Guillaume ROCHERON
VFX Supervisor
Graduated from the Georges Méliès School in 2003, section Artisan of the Animated Image, Guillaume Rocheron began his career in Paris at Buf Compagnie, where he notably worked on Panic Room, by David Fincher, and Batman Begins, by Christopher Nolan. In 2005, he joined the ranks of the English company MPC (Moving Picture Company) as a senior technical director, then CG supervisor. He notably worked on X-Men: The Last Stand, directed by Brett Ratner, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, directed by David Yates.
In 2010, he became VFX supervisor on Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, directed by Chris Columbus. In 2013, his work on Life of Pi, directed by Ang Lee, earned him, alongside Bill Westenhofer and Erik-Jan De Boer, a Visual Effects Society Award, an Oscar, and a BAFTA Award. Before 1917 by Sam Mendes, he worked on the special effects of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice by Zack Snyder, Godzilla by Gareth Edwards, and Ghost in the Shell by Rupert Sanders.
Guillaume’s work has been rewarded numerous times: at the age of 38, he already has 2 Oscars to his name!
